Allied Marine Consultants holds a membership or affiliation with the following organizations:

Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors, SAMS®, AMS®

The largest International Small Craft Professional Marine Surveyor Association. Members must be persons of integrity, who conduct business in a professional, ethical manner. Continuing education is required to retain membership.

American Boat and Yacht Council, ABYC

ABYC develops the Voluntary Consensus Safety Standards for the design, construction, equipage, maintenance, and repair of small craft.

National Fire Protection Association, NFPA

The mission of the NFPA is to reduce the worldwide burden of fire and other hazards by providing and advocating scientifically-based consensus codes and standards, research, training, and education.

Boat Owners Association of The United States, Boat/ US

The largest organization of recreational boaters in the U.S.A.. Boat/US publishes the most widely circulated publications for boaters, and serves as an educator in marine safety and environmental issues.

Chapman’s School of Seamanship, Marine Survey School

A Florida based Marine Education Center, and Marine Survey School, which offers a one year equivalent (180 credit hours) Marine Survey Degree.

Other Experience and Qualifications:

• United States Coast Guard, OUPV Licenced Master Captains and United Kingdom Licensed Yacht Masters.
• Chapman's School of Seamanship, Marine Survey School Graduates. Principle, graduating First in Class.
• Experienced in all aspects of vessel construction, repair, and refit.
• Experienced in Surveying all boat building materials including; Fiberglass Composites, Wood Cold Molded Epoxy, Aluminum, and Steel. Also experienced in Surveying all vessel coring materials including, all Wood material, Okoume, Aquatech, Sapele, Teak, Mahogany, Douglas Fir, Cedar, Oak, Balsa, Kevlar, Carbon Fiber, Airex, Divinycell, Duracore, Decolite, Baltec, Nida-Core, Klegecell, Core-Mat, Core-Cell, Tri-Cell, Travera, Penske Board, Composites, etc.
